Elmo's engine is now nicely tucked away in my garage. picke dit up today
and Cze-Zil carried it home like a good van!!! oh its fun.
Elmo has 3 coats of paint now!!!!

yep, been happening quietly, but its rubbed back a bit, so it aint shiny, but YAY no more white!!!

Body work (bar final paint) done
Subframes done
OHhhhhhh so close but yet so far

I am finding the refitting to be more time consuming that I first thought. I do however have my dash in and the interior complate (bar the handbrake) :wink:

It will be a bit of show and tell...Elmo...the Van...the Engine...my Dad who has done most of the work :lol:

well, today was a landmark day,

ELMO'S SPRAY JOB IS NOW COMPLETE!!!!!

No more painting required. just a matter of laeeting the paint harden
a bit before we buff it. going to buy the steering rack next week
so we can place the engine in...man im aiming BIG time for Gannons
i hope i get there!!!!

I will post up pics, but none of the current job, just of the car with
rubbed back paint
