You just need to be careful to never let the smoke out of the wires or the Lucas hardware, then you won't need this stuff.

I let the smoke out of my angle grinder a couple of weeks ago.

When you are removing paint with a wire twist knot wheel remember to blow the dust out of the grinder every now and then. The paint dust may contain lead and lead is conductive. When it builds up it shorts out and you let the smoke out!

Take it back to supercrap and they'll swap for one with new smoke in it..

I have a couple of their 115mm ones. One died (switch) 3 days after warranty expired. Oh well.. So I bought another the same.
One weekend a year later it died and the Chinese smoke all got out. So, I grabbed the previous one, to pull it apart for spares, plugged it in first for fun, lo and behold it worked again!
Maybe the smoke transferred between them when I took my eyes off them...

You must never, NEVER ever let the smoke out of YOU. You can never put it back properly if at all.
