log onto www.minispares.com and search products. Note prices are in LSD- multiply by around 3 to get an idea of cost.

I've brought about 20 lots of stuff in so far, no problems.

If posted you are allowed $1,000 free entry. If sent courier the limit is $250.
Above that, you are liable for import duty (15%), GST (10%) and handling charges this end $??

So make sure you tell 'em to POST it!

It is around 2.6 at the moment- changes daily. I don't have a 2.6x table in my head.
Freight depends on weight, volume, and how sent.
You won't know until after you order- as they never quote shipping charges.

Buy something small, get it posted, you will then get an idea.
I got some stuff in last week ( 68GBP worth) but no idea of freight cost yet.

Trust me, it's nearly always cheaper than buying local.

I agree with the doc. multiply by 3....easier to work out and would give you the worst case senario for $$$. Try ebay, minispares and do a google search for UK Mini part suppliers. There are many smaller suppliers that sell for less over there.

All will be cheaper than a local supplier / dealer.

Oh, and I don't think this works for servicing your Mini.... ...just a hunch

there you go. I have dealt with them....quite good. Download their Mini Parts List (in PDF format). It's a handy thing to keep on record.

I order thru MiniSpares. They have my card # and delivery details on file. Easy...!
They confirm in a couple of minutes via email.
If goods are out of stock they send remainder, but email you first.

It's all good.. :D

I have been told by a few people that Huddersfield Spares (UK) are one of the cheapenst and if you ring and order they will quote you on shipping costs as well.

Good luck.

p.s. Next time John (hubby) is servicing the mini I will let you know and you can come over.
