Yes, the last S's had Clubbie doors, Clubbie heater, and 2 speed wipers. My mate up the street has a restored one..

<edit> built from Dec 1970 onwards.

I can vouch for Kev, I've heard of (but not seen) the Cooper S' that have the clubby fittings.

I was talking to my mechanic about it because my K has the clubman doors and he said that he's seen a similar (clubby doored) Mini K that came close to being an S. He said it had the Mini K ID plate in the engine bay but the railing in the boot mounting for the RHS tank. The owner just thought it was a plain ol' K but turned it outs probably one of a kind.

Not quite sure how many S's got Clubbie doors- 150? Wasn't many.
At the end, some S's had the Police pack too - 731? cam, twin HS4s, etc.

Yeah I know that the MK 2 1/2 Copper Coopers had Clubman heaters (leaves room for a CB or something) and also Clubman doors. And the seats sat lower to give the pigs room for their silly hats.....

It's a nice car but - I love the Mambas, look good in silver (for some reason I always see them in black - can't say I'm in love with black mags). Sure hope that isn't a monsta tacho though!

Anto.

I think they used the Clubbie heater only 'coz they had stock.
My MK1-1/2 Copper Cooper had the stock S heater but of course back then they had no CB. I once outran one for 20 miles in my Fiat 124S.... :P

Yeah its a very nice engine, however I'd like it more with an air filter on the carb!

Not my cup of tea, but it does hide the brake dust. Don't get me started on contessas though, I much prefer superlites :)
