welcome. welcome.

buy what you can afford after much research here, talk to some of the guys in the mini car club, you will find there is someone knowledgable (not me!) who would be willing to have a look at a car if you think its the one you want.

they will delete it now willy

Where in sydney are you? If you told us that, someone might offer their knowlegeable services

Judging by your age your budget is most likely low  so the best thing to do (depending on what your plan is) is to buy what you can afford, and to buy a car that is running and registered, and has the least amount of problems. Then deal with them one at a time and one day when your budget is bigger you can do a total ground up restoration or whatever. Good luck!

Congratulations on deciding to get a mini
I agree with the boys and get what you ca afford, I did that when I brought my car.
I had a lot of problems to fix, but he was registered and kinda roadworthy (if you count the tied seatbelt and the rest of the problems roadwrothy according to my roadworthy guy!) but once I fixed the problems, hes now running like a dream.
I would have liked to have brought a round nose mini, but the clubby was all I could afford, and after a while I grew attached to him
Anyways, congrats on joining!

Lynda (and Beefa)
