what does the number refer to when talking about rockers
im understanding the higher the no. the higher the lift the more amount of gas rates
It is the rocker ratio so....
With 1.58 rockers if the push rod moves 0.33 then the valve will move .495
1.58 x 0.31 = .495
so the maximum lift Doc's cam can have is 0.31 right
where as with the corolla rockers at 1.46
1.46 x 0.339 = .495
Cam lift of RE 282 (at lobe) is actually 0.330", so I'm just under .495" with Corolla rockers.
Dunno how this cam will go yet, it's the 1st one he's ground for a 5 port motor...
Dean C is putting one in his 8 porter too.
