Don't try for a pinky in a town with an RTA Regional Office :wink: They are always doing audits. (they grab the book from the inspector and then go to the address on the pinky and take a look at the car) :shock:

Yeah yeah... I've got audited once in the last 42 years, with the Fiat. They pulled every car the garage did on a Saturday.
Got pinged for a rust spot (hey it was a Fiat) near the door hinge, had to throw some weld at it.. :wink:

They know which cars to pick on, if you have a Commodore they will pull like buggery on the key and when it comes out they say "they all do that!" :lol:

My son's vh commodore got knocked
back for rego 3 years ago for the ign key
coming out with engine running.Had to change ign key barrel.

damn! is it really that bad a thing? It should be allowed for manual cars.. we just have to stall if you want to turn the engine off quickly :D
