SO went to the place that sold the parts to leyland for the sunroof (again)
the first time i went the bloke wasnt very helpful and said they didnt have any
parts left other than rubbers....

but this time i went and spoke with a really old bloke, he used to fit these sunroof
back in the day.

Got NOS glass and wind deflectors. both the most visible parts of the
sunroof and mine were in need of replacement!! The glass was the biggest
acheivement because it is a special tinted, reflective safety glass. sort
of bronze like. looks SWEET...HAPPY DAYS

also bought the paint for the motor. which will be getting painted this arvo!!

Engine is now officially black. Its a black black rather than a different black I have been told. Still... I would have gone with the striped paint he got the other day.

Should see the work he did on Mo though today.

Dude, I hope you don't mean cut corners kind of rush!! You have put so much work into it, and it'd be great to see it at Gannons or even before, but do it right. You'll never forgive yourself if you stuff something and there's plenty of car shows around!!!

Anyways good to hear it's coming along nicely - best of luck!!
