It should move freely anyway. You don't have to turn it to gt it out, it should turn anyway. This is where the problem is i think.

The bush is probably stuck in the sludge.. put the top flange back in and turn it a bit, or try putting 2 screwdrivers in there together, and grip them and the centre shaft with some multigrips. Once the bush turns it'll probably pull out. :wink:

top flange = bit speedo cable screws onto. Has 2 lugs underneath that fits into the recesses of the bit you are trying to remove. Maybe enough to get to turn. Good luck.
