i have mine mounted on the steering coloum, (like the new minis) but its im a morrie. a guy i know fitted his into the origianl 3 dail cluster, but it took him ages to get a good fit.

I once mounted a 3" Smiths Tacho in the proper spun alluminium housing, high on the left side of the placky cover on the steering column (just cleared the steering wheel spokes). Looked great, easy to see, but too much weight for the flimsy two piece cover. Should have strengthened the the cover before I mounted all that weight....

Mine is the same tacho as Kev's, but in a small copy of the "cooper" binnacle, it also has my Boost guage in it.....

So, Soneone wants 3-guage clusters, hhhmmm?
Assuming Clubbie ?

I'm pretty sure I have 3 of them......

Black pafes, rings and guages..... (clock on at least one of them, but easy to mod and fit a tacho....

Anyway, Drop me a line if you want one.....

You should see the other pic I have of this car. Relates to the whole 'Carby' post though.

Yeah you get out of a late Mini or Clubbie and into an early one, it feels 3 ft longer inside! Less claustrophobic....

lol...i was thinkin abt it...ever since i saw one cooper s tats currently undergoin restoration at lindsey's "pistons" down at bayswater(vic)

however im thinkin...where abts am i gonna fit the air vents?...my cd player( under the swtich panal - in the console?) would certainly like to modify the look once ive got the spare cash...

im curious, how much are those "empty" dashboards selling for?
