Technically it isn't a compliance plate even though it is referred to as one.
It is only a identification tag or factory number plate.
it wasn't until 1971 that compliance plates came out, and 1973 when it became illegal not to have one on your car.

I need a new one for my clubby as the stupid sandblaster, caught the plate in his gun sights and now it's phuced.

Anyone know who can reproduce the correct stamping style?
