Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Havnt heared form anyone that uses Autoglym.

Anton that is also what the tradies and sh!t use so id like
to give that a go. you used the super resin polish on JAM i beleive. how did
that come out?

Mate, to be honest I didn't like the AutoGlym...but I know for a fact that Mrcooms loves the stuff on his Mayfair.

BTW....I used the 2000 grit on JAM to take out some very fine scratches....thats the only reason. Red shows everything....... :? just like black and dark blue

That Zaino stuff looks good, but notice how fantastic people's car's are in the first place? Like, IMMACULATE Corvettes and stuff. I wonder how noticeable a ding or a dent would be...? It would warp the mirror-like image.

Also, people say, "Oh and this is with 10 coats..." and "This is after 36 coats...' I don't know about you but I WOULD GO NUCKING FUTS DOING 3 DOZEN COATS OF POLISH ON MY CAR!!! The Meguires 3-step process is enough as it is. I know it builds up a little each time you use it, but I mean c'mon...

This is from the site:
"I've been a loyal customer for years. Today I strip my new Dodge to the clear coat, using the clay bar then 3 coats of polish using the accelerator and then finishing up with the enhancer. 6 hours later, I have piece of art. Thank you for providing such outstanding products."

Ok, I picked up this afternoon...

Mothers "Scratch Remover" (For Fine scratches)
Mothers Carnuaba Wax
Mothers Chrome Polish

After just 1 go at the scratch remover and 2 of the wax, my Bikes tank looks about three feet deep !

Ok that paint is already in fantastic condition, and has a nice thick clear-coat, but Mothers gets my vote...

I use only Meguair's products.

They have some excellent products available in their new range including the purple bottled stuff.

Their new wash, wax and tyre spray is fantastic.

For those interested the VMCI has a day at one of the distributors (Professional Detailing Supplies, Campbellfield VIC) on the 31st July, 2005 and we will be able to see them use the products including the new range not yet released. Advice is available on the day as well.

So come along and see what you think yourself. Nothing wrong with trying them.

More details soon at www.mini.org.au on the calendar page.

Actually, if anything, the kids would say we use it because it smells like lollies. The new stuff especially.

I have always used Maguirs polish on all of my cars with excellent results. They have a good progressive range that is ideal for getting the best finish. If you are using gold class then you wont get the crusty flakes left behind.
I wouldnt go near Zaino. My father polished his brand new 350z (black in colour) with zaino and used all the correct cloths etc. It took me an entire day to fix up the swirls and scratches put in by the polish. thank god for Maguires. Tried and proven.
