Why do I feel like I am playing out a scene from the book/movie '1984' every time I log in to ausmini? How many times are the so called moderators going to cut/crop,alter or remove a post on here??

I want a serious answer.....this forum used to be cool, now it's like I am back in school and you can and can't say or post this and that....

No other mini forum I post at is moderated like this one, and I am seriously getting pissed off at 'kids' telling me what I can and cant post, and editing posts whenever they feel like it.

I know other members and formner members feel the same way, I have a stack of emails to prove it!

get your crap together mods.....

dont look at me... I believe in freedom of speech.. and i WILL feel free to voice my opion at anyone whom deserves it... whether I am a moderator or not.

cool, thanx. I am sure that if you were to edit a post you would state a reason why, unlike other mods on here who don't understand the whole concept of a bulletin board/forum.

Australia needs this forum, and OZ mini owners need to be able to log in here and post messages. I know of 4 people who you won't see here anymore because of childish behavior of ausmini mods. if this keeps up I am going to persuade a certain mini club to start their own forum, so that it can be moderated in a sensible fashion!

hmm... i aint modded any post for ages! So must be 998clubman, big dan or 850_van getting a bit power crazy!

So yeah, i'm sorta making it official that moderators will leave most posts alone, and only modding the ones that obviously need to be modded. So moderators... hold back, let people have their say!

Scott, you started a really good thing here. Don't ruin it, or let it be ruined.

I am a member of many buliten boards, Comp Hardware Forums, Internet Services Forums, Web Design Forums and several Mini forums and I never see the moderation that goes on here. It's too much and it not only pisses me off but quite a few others too, they just don't want to ruffle feathers and speak up...except for makka....he speaks his mind...

Dont know about phpBB... but generally there is a log in the Admin section
