*insert loud profanity here*

****!!!! I broke another one. This time it is the correct type splitter but I didn't check the branding etc of the tool I just bought it for $28!

It didn't even make the top ball joint budge!!! what a RIP OFF! I am taking it back tommorrow and asking for my money back! :(

I am taking this as a sign that I am not supposed to fix these pot joints on my own! :( Everyman must know his limits and admit defeat...

Then again I might have to get the correct ball joint splitter tool...

Makka ia a LEGEND! between the truckie stories and singing to Jimmy Barnes we managed to do the lot! (well at least for all the ball joints out and redid both inner and outer CV on one side of the car!

I am closer to having my mini running again! YAY!!!! :D

PS. I wish I had a digital camera, I'd show you how bad my old clutch actuator arm was! it was bent out of shape, all the clevis pins were 1-2mm worn and the ball end of the arm was cracked and about to break off!

You're a champ Makka! cheers!
