Ok we have a huge number of people wanting to dyno. Im thinking that MRC will not be able to do this number in the 4 hours he is open on a saturday....

I will have to see him on monday about it, may be able to do it if he is nto busy...

I have plan B here:

It will be held at Castle HIll exhaust, just around the corner from MRC, they have just put in a dyno and DALE the operator is the guy helping dean (baracade) build hes 400hp mini. He can do 25 minis at $50 each, each car getting 2 runs, but it has to be on a sunday, i was thinking the 11th??????????????????

Anyway stay tuned.

BYO meat and grog and we will see you all after the dyno day. We'll make a salad and other BBQ nibbles.

We live in Castle Hill, 5 minutes from the dyno. All welcome to swing by afterwards. :D

Sweet! So long as this other Dyno does print outs I am happy.

Only one thing, will those who were at the last dyno day get slightly different readings this time around?

Chong,
I'd guarantee it. Even if you use the SAME dyno...
Air pressure, temp & humidity are bound to be different.

If it's a modern Dyno Dynamics one too, like MRC's, it should be close. But all the old ones- like Frank Kleinigs & Mini Classics, vary heaps one to another.

`Rolling road' type dynos are really only good for comparisons on the same dyno on the same day- even then they are not exact science, and figures can be fudged.
