I reckon that pic was taken at the beach.

EDIT: - The sticker on the front windscreen say AIRBRUSH something, so that's paint...not stick-on. My guess anyway.

theyre metal patches in an attempt to cover up the rust

you shoulda seen my moke, it had 4 layers of metal i cut out from the bottom
but ive seen on a site someone had 7 layers of metal on their original-ish English Moke
