Is this a $29.95 part from the usual auto places or is the ignition coil something that needs to be 'ordered' in special.

Is there any particular type that I should ask for.

Do you have a resitor connected to your Coil ususaly a white block going to your fuse box. I made the mistake of purchasing a GT40 coil that needed a resistor when all i neede to do was to get a GT40 T, wich does not need a resistor. Sue spent a month without Morris becouse I purchased the wrong Coil. Additional $140 to find the problem :twisted:

If it's an Oz made Mini any 3 ohm 12V coil will do. Bosch GT40 is good, don't buy the GT40-R unless you have a ballast resistor fitted (99% of Minis here don't)
