Hi guys, I am after some help looking for me old and first Mini, sold her back in 1996, it was a 1966/67 Mini Deluxe (s replica) Colour was Burgundy Red, White Roof, original paint and trim, trim was greeny/grey cant think off colour name, had three binacle speedo centre, black carpet

This had all the right bits so most likley still an S if not now classed as a S it had an extra tank, over riders corner bars, correct Mk 1 S engine (painted bright yellow), changed to dry suspension, contessa mags, painted white with polished edge, this car was rott free, and very good car.

Sold it cause the engine cost a fortune and was told it was fully recod but wasnt after all the money getting it back on road with buying all the S parts couldnt afford to pull it down again, so sold it and moved on, this car ran like like stink was a quick car and later was told it was seen in Sydney was located in Newcastle, reg lost as had private plates on it, delear changed them over, I really want to source this car and pput it right and back in my collection, its worth alot to me so willing to pay good money, this car in perfect body condition

What shall I do now how can I try and find it????

Can anyone help,

thanks minimonaro

would it be great if this site had a place where we could all post and try and find our first Minis.
I'm looking for my 1972 tan clubman.

For Victorians there is a web site (sorry I can't find it again in a hurry) run by the transport dept that for a fee you can trace the history of a rego number of a car. My first Mini in 1966 was a '64 850 rego JKK 766 I've been tempted a couple of times to find out what happened to it  My second Mini was a 72 Clubman van (how I wish I still had that  ) which I sold to my nephew for $400 who promptly blew up the motor 2 week later and sent the whole thing to the wreckers :(

Try the RTA/VIC Roads/QLD Transport?

They can trace VIN and plate numbers to your car if you still have that...
