Beauty!
Both top balljoints have been separated from the top arms 8)

Now... do i need to remove the bolt that holds the top arm to the subframe or can i push (lots?) down on the top arm so that i can get the front hilo out

Is your pc in your garage with you with a grease proof keyboard.

Real time updates. I feel like I'm there...

Good work though. Nothing more satisfying than smashing the crap out of a ball joint.

I couldn't get the two hammer trick to work so I bought the el-cheapo splitter from Supercrap. Like the sissor type but the bolt comes down from the top above the folk. Not as much leverage as the sissor type but works none the less - took a minute or two and was all done.

Hi-lo in.
Shocker almost back.

NOW... does the top balljoint need proper torquing up or can i just do it up without a torque wrench?
