Nav I would also check the Adjuster and Wedge's and get some Copper grease on these parts as they tend to stick

Been there done that. The adjusters are at their max, All my shoes are almost paper thin and the drums are rather worn. all this = not much brake performance. Not too long till its all replaced with new goodness. well except i can't afford/justify disks on NAV

Chong pulled the rear brakes off Lillee yesterday- drums had been machined oversize to +1/32", but some fool (PO or Brookvale Pirates??) had put a big steel staple thingy across the adjuster so it could wear the shoes further..
He's got a proper set of +1/32" O/S shoes to go on there now.

mini brakes are frustrating items
im at the stage where i have had new wheel and brake cylinders new hoses new pads new drums rebuilt brake master cylinder "which may still be dodgy" new front pipes on the front as was rusted when putting new hoses on has been adjusted and bleed professionally oh yeah and a new valve that was stuck shut and not allowing fluid to thebacks at all
and STILL AVERAGE pedal have to bed them in more and maybe review the brake master cylinder but have no time to drive it as its my 2nd car and work at the moment is all consuming
