MiniSpares told me that they were updating their site with more photos & descriptions and that the minidirectaus site would be down until then, they didn't give a date.

They do inflate their prices for the us market so buy through MiniSpares.com not MiniMania.com

For Example: (After Conversion)

Bonnet Stripes:
MiniMania: $28.63

MiniSpares: $22.16
__

Chrome Boot Hinges:
MiniMania: $50.15

MiniSpares: $26.50
_

The US wouldn't have much of a local parts base so they put a bigger margin on.

One reason the MM site (Nevada City, California) is dearer than MS on the same stuff, is their prices include the freight cost to get it there from UK. And perhaps US import duty.

not sure how heavy/bulky ur items are but 68 pounds sounds a fair bit for shipping

i was quoted on the following

1) stainless 2x wiper n 2x blades
2) aston chrome n lockin fuel cover (no use to me anymore, cant fit my rover)
3) exterior door handle scoops
4) front orange indicator covers

total 58 pounds inlcudin postage

but have yet to place any order - will make my decision after the minishow but i think minijohn has one of the lowest shippin rates

How come the aston locking fuel cap doesnt fit rover mini. I sent Huddersfield an email and they told me Quote "The Aston cap would fit on your car".
Hate the plastic one that is on mine at the moment.

my fuel head was converted to the unleaded style (like the ones u see on holdens n toyotas)

i was told by a mechanic that the old aston flip caps would not be able to fit the black plastic cap (tho ive never tried it)

right now im just looking around..hopin to find something in chrome/stainless that will fit my rover

Check with 13secmini- he brought shocks and other stuff in, but it sounds OK to me, it's pretty heavy/bulky.
