I was replaceing the rear seat belts in the clubbie this arvo. With a good set from one of my parts cars & I noticed that both cars had odd belts in the rear. I was surprised that the rears had been changed as they rarely get used & the drivers ones were clearly original (right down to the missing plastice between the fron seats) Anyway I wondered if this was done because of the way the rear seat belts in a clubie are supposed to cross over & odd belts means you carn't get it wrong.

every clubby i have owned had the same thing too Paul(why weren't you at hay?) so i am taking a guess that they were built like that.

Cheers

Purple ones are faded black ones. When they fade they are weakened and should be replaced. (or turned over!)
UV rays are not good to seat belts.

When I was racing I used to remove the belts from the car after each meeting and store them in a dry dark place (the glove box)
