Doc, they`re "Meant" to be self-adjusting,,,no external adjusters

I`ve used them plenty of times, good shock really.

I`ve just got one of my old roady Mk1 Cooper "S"s going after sitting under the house for 21years & all 4 shocks are frozen solid, so i`ve bought these ones off Tony for the old girl, can`t wait to fit them & stop my bum hitting the floor & my head hitting the roof :-)

recomend them to anyone with a road mini

Yeah, the KYB "Gas-A-Just" shocks are self adjusting.

If you are goint to have your car super-low again..... try to find some LOWERED shock absorbers. They are shorter so there is less chance of bottoming out and damaging the shocker. Maybe he sells short ones too..... ask.

I don't get it and it's probably a really simple thing i'm missing too.
I've heard it before, but why are you any more likely to bottom out and damage the shock when the car is lowered with standard length shocks, isn't that what the bump stops are for? :?

Bump stops get old and soft, and most of them fall off their brackets.

Besides that, its just a safety thing. Better to be safe, and be sure that your shocks wont bottom out EVER. (when the shock DOES bottom out, it either breaks itself, or it breaks the bracket.)
