Eventualy there will be no minis left that have not been fitted with flares so I would be going for the No flares option.

That is precisely why I don't want flares on this car... It's like I am killing an ideal!

"oh look at that mini! looks totally original, holy cow it just smoked that ricer car!"

Other opinions please, let me hear from all of you's on what you's think!

I know what Kev will say... flares and hondas...

with good reason! the hondas from what i've heard are just as good (if not better), are cheaper and still have plenty of parts available cheap.......and dont stress about the flares (SERIOUSLY!!!!) how many minis still look good with flares?!! most of them! :D

Who needs discs anyway!

There is a lot you can do to improve the drum brakes that people have not tried on minis like drilling the drums and groving the drum. I know it sounds bad but some blokes in America have been doing it with hot rods for a few years with success.

1275s are as over rated as discs!

Just build a bigger 1100!

No Flares +1

I got "S" Offset Contessa's and took my flares off....
Same width Tyres, Same "S" Brakes, nothing outside the guards....

mmmmm Hi-Los and wheels under guards.....

If it wasnt for the bloody big exhaust and Rod-Change housing , I'd be sitting in the weeds by now...But each problem as it comes.....
