I resemble that comment  , and agree there's no need to put the lady down! If you're going to do it, do it the best way possible (especially when it comes to brakes).

You may find this hard to believe, but I've heard of some minis getting serious brake fade when running around the Adelaide Hills.... :P

OK... :? go get some 8.4s. Get em recond or buy new, fit EBC Greenstuff pads, or Blackstuffs if you don't thrash it in them thar hills... 8)

Hondas DO work but bits have to be made to fit 'em... and I don't make 'em any more.

Oh I like to try (and fail) whenever I can.

And re: Hills. You wanna see hills, come to Coogee where I live. the first thing I had to fix in the mini was the handbrake, everything here is at a 60* incine. The keyboard is slipping off my desk as I'm typing this very sentence.
But atleast you Adelaide guys have the Churches, thats something I guess.

Just get a set of 8.4's. They are relatively cheap vs 7.5 inch coopers and no engineers certificate or modifications required. Sure they stop as good as hondas, but less hassle too. Save $$$. They are probably around $600 - $800 depending on what you wear on the day :P   (sorry I couldn't resist)
