Huh? I had cracked wheels that's why I went to Mathews tyres in the first place... :?:

 Hitting 60k corners at 100k is not driving hard enough (only in 100k zones of course  )

60km corners? At 100km/hr? I havent seen many 60km corners around, and if you take them at 100km\hr there must be something really special about your mini \ F3 racer.

Nope, all the roads around here are marked at way under safe speeds, like a brand new 2 lane each way straight road with no houses around bieng posted at 50k's and even on the Bruce highway every time there's even a slight curve the cut the posted speed down to 70k. A better example would be taking the large roundabouts at 60-70k

Maaaate, back whenI was a lad we used to double the speed advisory and add 10MPH...
And that was in worked over 850s- 3.5" wide rims, textile radials and all!
So no... you're NOT driving hard enough!

 Gotta start being more careful around here, these bloody QLD coppers are viscious. I spent around 16 years driving in Sydney (a pretty mad driver in my younger days) and only ever recieved 2 speeding fines. Moved up here and in 3 years I'm down to 2 points

Now lets not teach the youngins any bad habits. Advisory speed signs were sort of....well, advisory, they indicated a change of direction only, the speed indicated being totally ignored. That was in a MK 2 Cortina on XAS's, the gun tyre, no textile radials for me. Those were the days, no speed limits that could be enforced and bugger all traffic to get in the way.

Didn't stop them chasing me 20 miles up Highway 1 before it was speed zoned though. I know the Fiat did 110 MPH because the fuzz with the 106MPH Cooper S told me..

Yeah I agree not applicable today. Too much traffic for a start.

Do try Direct Tyre Sales at Nth Parra - there's a guy there who's just done up a Mini Deluxe - He loves them. Tell him you're in the Mini Club and ask what the best price he can do is. You might be lucky.

Tried these guys, nice bloke, but small outfit and the dearest of the lot @ $128

I forget what these guys quoted, but it was something like $122 and they wouldn't match the $113
