WhoDat - how is the gauge part held in on an angle?

It is held with a small L bracket on each side - screwed into the main dash laterally and then vertically from behind into the gauges pod [the "pop-rivet" you refer to is the head of a phillips screw holding this L bracket]

Cheers Dat

If anyone does do some full size copies of that plan run off a copy for me, I'd be happy to cover copying costs, post etc

Ben, using a template can sometimes save some of the working out, but usually you have to make modifications anyway. I find the best way is to make your own template using cardboard or similar first, then make your final from mdf or whatever you wanted ;)

Granted but sometimes there are complex curves that are impossible to get without a plan. If someone is running off copies of a plan in full size (but only if you already are  ) I really would like a copy.
