I'm after two things:

1. Can anyone supply a close up pic of the accelerator cable linkage for a single HS6 (or HIF44 if they're the same)? I'm going to use one carb from a twin HS6 set-up. Because of the way the linkage on the twin set-up works there is nowhere to attach the cable, I'll have to make something.

2. Can anyone offer up a 'starting point' needle recommendation for the same carb on the following spec: stock (matched) inlet, LCB, 1380cc, 12G940 head 'converted' to unleaded but otherwise stock (I think - never been in there), MG metro cam. Unfortunately I don't know the CR.

3. Plan B - somebody pops up and says "hey I'll swap you my single HIF44 for your twin HS6's"

Thanks in advance.....

Yeah I'm like a virus 8)

I posted two places at the same time 'cause I wasn't getting any answers to an earlier try - now I think I have two offers of a swap. I'll email both these guys with what I have and what I want and we'll see what happens...
