Hey All

The beast (General Lee??) is almost running. I have some work to do tomorrow fixing up throttle linkages etc, but the engine is IN the car!!

Anyways, a BIG thanks to Brad and Josh for sparing a couple of hours to help me out today. I'm not finished, but I am a helluva lot closer than I would or could have been without the extra help.

Also, Thanks Aaron for the loan of your throttle linkages - My mate should be able to copy them in some capacity tomorrow.

Hopefully we will see some drivey action tomorrow night after work - or it will be a late night Friday making sure all is well for Saturday. I may be just a spectator at this stage!!

Yeah, it's just awesome that people are as helpful as they are, both on here and in the Mini Club.

I pity Mini Owners that aren't on Ausmini or in a car club or both!!
I reckon you'd go broke very quickly just buying parts retail and paying someone to work on it!!

Long live the Mini Scene!!!

I hope to organise a few Working Bee/BBQ's at the new house. And not JUST for my car!!

Once I get some more decent tools it will be an awesome place to work on Minis. Or people could just bring along theirs like Josh Did!!

Bob;
The "package" has arrived, safely locked away until the Dyno day. This should give the General Mutlee those last few horses you were looking for.... :wink:
Cheers,
