I just want to ask a few questions about wheel sizes,

if i was to fit 13" x 7J Revolutions to a Clubman LS (disc brakes) would a lot of alteration be necesary?

Also, i've read that diameters above 12" affect the handling of car, is this correct?

\thanks

You can sometimes just fit 13's on a Mini depending on tyres used.

13's are a cosmetic thing really, and you are correct, 10" and 12" are better for handling. 8)

Wheel and Tire combo's of all three are within 1cm of each other..about 500mm total diameter for 10's 12's and 13's...we measured them last night..It's the width and weight that affects handling most.

Brad's 13x6's don't feel that much difference to my 12x5's...a little lighter steering on the 12's cause there's less width and weight..

Yep. I gotta say i agree. My well-loved LS isn't as nice to drive as my $600, everyone-wants-to-kill-it boonger Clubby. The LS is on 12" A539s, and the Shitter is on 10" A008s.

Why is it always the car you throw all your money into is always just not quite 'right'. :?:

whats wrong with the handling on 12's?
the handling on mine is great.

12's are better cos..

low profile tyre..
more bling on the wheel
more room for brakes
factory went to 12's from 10's

all the same can be said about 13's

bit strange, i had 10x5 or 6 dunlop rally mags on my mini k first then got 8.4inch brakes so i went to 12x5.5 with A539's and i think its the best thing ive done....love the a539's. almost as good in the wet as in the dry, look nice and are so quiet.
dunlop rally mags are for sale aswell, check out for sale section
