& here it is --->

Image

can`t wait to finish the dam thing...will still be a while tho,,,i`m not that good at body work so i`ll be handing all that side of it over to my mates Stew & Archie,,,they`re pretty dam good panel beaters/spray painters & i still havn`t decided what colour to paint it yet,,,it was going to be that "Citric Acid" ford colour but i`m going off that now,,,every man & his dog seems to be wearing it these days , ,,, so ,,,any suggestions as to what colour to paint it?????????

cheers all & hope you like :-)

progression is slow but at least it`s assured :-)

hee hee,,,woodridge racing grey :-)

thanks Marc,,,"Looking like it`s meant to be there"----i said exactly that to my mates last night.

& i had thought of a silver with a slight gun metal grey though it,,,sort of like "Silver bullet" kind of theme :-)

I`m just really stuck on this colour thing,,,i do still have heaps of time cause Stew said that i had to help Archie do all the panel beating & sanding before he`ll even touch the paint side of things & i`m off working now with my foot being all stuffed up (mught need screws put in it yet,,,find out next tuesday :-( ) so,,,it will be ages before it`s anywhere near painting, but i really do need to make a decision here & the Citric Acid was what it was going to be for about a year,,,just gone off it now,,,too many cars around in that colour now :-(

comon guys & gals,,,give up your suggestions :-)

Hey Matt mate are you going to get that road registered? If you are do you need to get that roof engineered? Oh and the other thing, the intercooler, I'm affraid QT hate them sticking out like that.

My choice of colour would definately be retro. BRG, burgandy or plain white,

My two cents (not worth crap).

Ty

PS. sorted the Moke linkage. Yay!!!!!!

sweet, thanks guys,,,

Ty,,,the roof does need complying yeah, but my engineer/approvals officer is on the ball with it, so we should be sweet, but it does cost a chunk to have the 2x tests :-(,,,& the intercooler can be removed for the inspection if they get all shity with it :-), bung it back on afterwards,,,there`s just no other place for the dam thing :-)

heck, there`s no more room for "ANYTHING" else :-)

& i was onto the BRG thing too,,,but i`m still up in the air with the colour thing,,,can`t get it around my head,,,DAM,,,i wish someone would just paint it for me so i didn`t have to make the decision :-)

I almost stopped on the "MATT BLACK" Big Phat & tough thing :-) like my other race mini, but my panel beaters & painters don`t really like the idea,,,you know how they say that black shows up every little imperfection,,,well,,,they did such a good job on my sports sedan shell,,,why can`t they do the same on thins ????? :-) allergic to hard work i reckon :-)
