ahuh i see. does the cost vary? depending on which dyno place you use?

No idea, but the previous one (same place) we paid $50 too.
You want a Dyno Dynamics one running in `Shootout' mode... then it should give HP figures close to ours.

price varies. Castle Hill Exhaust have a Dyno Dynamics one, and want $70 per run. Most places would charge less with a large group.

In our case they plotted HP and A/F (air/fuel) ratio.
X axis shows car speed and gear used.
Engine RPM was not shown as it takes more setting up. Can be worked out from car speed.

IMO If you're going to spend $50 - $70 on a short dyno run just to find out how many neddies you're puting out, you'd be better off booking some dyno time on your own, to really tune the ignition and mixture properly as well as detect problems and sort out things like fuel pressure, plug leads, plugs etc. It'll probably cost you twice as much, but at least you'll see some benefit from the exercise.
