last week I had a bit of a road trip around NSW, catching up with most of the sydney bods at the Dyno day last saturday, great to meet everybody, Makka's hospitality was great

I had a great time - I'm writing the full story of my adventures, but I thought I'd share some statistics.... my cooper's odometer doesn't work cos the little clip that holds the small gear popped off, but using my map and whereis.com.au, I've pieced together the distances below, in summary:

2300km, using 247 litres of fuel = 9.217 litres per 100km, or 25mpg

wodonga - temora 219
temora - dubbo 319
dubbo - coonabarabran 160
coonabarabran - baradine 50
baradine - coonabarabran 50
coonabarabran - newcastle 350
newcastle - newcastle 50
newcastle - terrigal 100
terrigal - brad 87
brad - makka 11
makka - brad 11
brad - makka 11
makka - dyno 26.47
dyno - city 33
city - newtown 7
newtown - bathurst 210
bathurst - bathurst 15
bathurst - blayney 50
blayney - bathurst 50
bathurst - cowra 107
cowra - wodonga 367

Total 2283

I'm not gonna say how much oil I used...

It was nice to meet you while you were in town Simon. The road trip sounds great! Did you do a lap around the mountain?

Check his stats:
"bathurst - Bathurst 15"

That sounds like at least three laps of the mountain!!
:D

I take it you went the Great western Highway and not Bell's line to Bathurst?
Kevin.

Sorry but could'nt resist!!!!

So your the one who was extremely rude to me last Friday night.....

Saying what you said to me was very very rude and was not your place to say such a thing to me.....

Shame you did'nt take a page out of Makka's hospitality book and show that towards me..............

Main reason I did'nt attend the dyno day was because of you!

sorry Anton, got caught up in the "what did I say to upset DJG-14U so much"... I certainly did visit the mountain, that was the reason for the stopover!

I did a couple of laps, and had a bit of a photo shoot at the dipper (wasn't much traffic), then left Bathurst, got 50 k's down the road and realised that I forgot to go to the museum, and went back again :D
