Bit of a long story,
Since being interested in mini's i have noticed a house that has many wrecks out the front (a clubman was one of them) and looks as though it may have used to be a wreckers many years ago, for ages i wondered if there was any more out the back, on Saturday i finally got around to going and knocking on this blokes door and asked if he had any round nose parts, he said yeah ive got a couple, when we went out the back back he had over 40 minis!!!!!!!!! or what was left of them as most were rusting away to nothing. but there where sooo many parts still on the shells in good cond that ive seen go on ebay for heaps!!(hence this post for any one near wollongong)

prob was he definatly wasnt giving the bits away
I was looking to get a the following round nose parts but seemed a little pricey to me:
L + R door = $180
Bonnet = $60
boot = $120
all needing quite a bit of work
Glass Front +Rear+L+R = $100

from experience do these prices seem expensive? or does anyone have any of these items theyd like to sell?

I don't know the aussie parts market, but they sound pretty pricey to me for parts that aren't rare. I bought a 1/2 Clubman (back half) for $40 on Sunday, everything excluding seats and petrol tank.

Maybe that's why he has so many parts - no-one buys them at his prices?

and I refused to pay $50 for a door off a car on its way to the crushers because I thought it was to ex-ey!!!

Check to see if there any Cooper shells/Clubby GT/Sunshine etc and forget the rest....or...."tell him he's dreaming" :lol:
