I've been a good boy to my little lame mini, i've been giving the engine a run every now and then while it's not going anywhere and i've noticed somethin strange with the way the car revs..
if i slowly apply pressure to the go faster pedal (rev faster in my case:() the revs will raise accordingly ie.. smoothly
however,
if i stick my foot to the floor, the engine will splutter for a few moments, then gather itself and rev like i expected it to
a couple of times it gave a little puff back out the mouth of the carb.
anyone got any ideas
also, i'm trying to figure out which cable (throttle/choke) goes to which er.. turny thing

for some reason i have the suspicion that they are hooked up the wrong way round, i've read a bunch about su's but ,typically, forgotten everything when i need the info. should the butterfly be connected to the throttle cable? and again, typically, i can't remember which one (on mine) connects where. .
and i don't have any pics...great.. so would the behaviour above be cosistent with what i suspected or is there something else...
phew... long post... i'm just waiting for the "That's what mini's do" response..
thanks
michael
