 Post subject: Door handle removal

Help please im stuck, is there any tricks or techniques for getting the door handles of my '65 deluxe as there is no easy way to access the screws, that i know of. i would like to remove them as im just about to do a respray and i want it to look as pro as possible however i will tape if thats what you guys recomend.

I have done them they are painfull but you need a small hand and a small ratchet.

I think you can get to at least one of the screws with a normal screw driver once you have the rest of the mechanism off the inside of the handle. A small rachet srew driver is handy for the others.
Its not any easier to put them back on, just remember the spring and get the right tension on it.
