Prob a really dumb question from someone who is still learning :(
Have got 3 weeks off work coming up and am going to be doing a few bit's and pieces of work on cheezel!
When I take out the heater (Not looking forward to this bit) is it still possible to drive the car around if I attach the two water hoses together inside the car so there is a continual loop???

I can't see why not, just make sure you get rid of any air bubbles caused because some water was lost and top up the radiator. if you normally run the mini with the heater on it might show a little hotter as the heater does help with cooling the engine

Thanx Fuzzy Man! Am going to clean out the core etc and put it all back in but thinking of no heater tap and just putting hose straight onto the core! Will see how I go.

I am doing that at the moment with my LS. I took the heater out to clean it and have put a short piece of pipe between the rubber hoses so as I could drive it around and so far, had no probs with it.

Heater will be going back in soon as I get some new carpet tho...

Taking the heater out was easy, putting it back might not be quite the same????

Have read somewhere on here at some other time that someone had lifted it when they re instaled it! Have been thinking of doing that to make more space to.

Good to know it can be done thanx
