Yeah what's DV up to? Someone on MM said he's in the Carribean, writing a book. No idea what....

Hey Steve! I met him (DV) too several times! once at a car show in the UK (Signed my Big yellow book!) Also I used to race against his daughter, Samantha, in the eighties at 'Long Marston Drag Strip', now called Shakespeare County Raceway or something (near Stratford upon Avon) 8)

She always used to beat me though, her Mini had heaps of power! I wonder why?

The last I heard he was writing for a mag in the US and playing with SB Chevs. He was my god in the seventies and I still rate him as among the best of minds in the tuning industry. He was/is not afraid to look at a variety of motors. I have only found him to be wrong once, though others will say his ideas are no longer current.

I was wandering the web looking for camshaft data and found a reference to David Vizard. He is now teaching at North Carolina University. The small block Chev community reckon he is fairly clever as well.
