Ok I did it but I am not sure how it went (nothing like I planned anyway).

To start off with she was vaccuming the shop (yes at least she can vaccum, now lets she if she can cook :D :D ). So I had to interupt her, she seems like a nice girly girl, shy, quiet.
It didn't seem like she was confident around guys or had many guys as friends.

When I asked her about the paper this did say NO she had a think about ut and then said I don't think so, I then asked her about normal inviation pads she then showed me were they where. I then approached her a 2nd time to ask if she knew of any places that sell the paper. As I said before she was very quiet and shy and spoke really quietly and seemed young for her age, eg she started working about 6 months ago so 15 to 16 yrs old

Now girls or guysu may be able to help with this one, the question is.

1. Was she, quiet and not talk much because she is just a shy, quiet/ nervous girl who is not confident around guys. Because I now other girls that have guys as friends and they talk fine with them.

OR

2. was she just brushing me off

Any other thoughts/responses/ opinions greatly appreaciated

Hi!
I'm glad you didn't go with the card idea, she could have thought it was pretty weird. It would be something appropriate after a first date. If she is quiet and shy it would have probably embarrassed her especially if another girl was there.
I have worked in retail and a guy overheard my name from another staff member and came up and pretended that he knew me and had seen me out in the city. I thought it was pretty desperate and I was looking for any excuse to get away from him.
On the other hand I have had guys who have bought something at the counter and asked how my day was going, sympathised at how lousy working in retail was, asked if I had to work on the weekend and I thought they were really nice.

As for talking to a group of girls at the shops, I wouldn't go there. They're more likely to be nasty, and pay you out after for trying to talk to them. Girls in a group are not the nicest of species especially if you are talking high school girls.

My god mini girl, i think thats the nicest advice a girl could give, usuallly most of you are mean & horrible, and tear the guys heart out and stick it into his hand.
