correction... and i don't mean to be a nob...But a delay between the pressing of the shutter release and the shutter actually opening (focused or not) is deliberately programed into "most" lower-spec cameras in order to create a distinction between the models.... so thommo is in fact correct ... yes i know.. it's hard to beleive.. ;)

<Edit> that's why i'm still using the film slr.. coz i don't have the $2000 to get myself the cheapest 6Mpxl Digi SLR (Canon EOS 300D, if you're interested)

i was getting so angry....i'd tried everything and i couldnt get the bloody thing to take photos quick enough....i was on a corner and would have had some sweet photos, but i just kept missing them...

it wasnt my camera either so i never really worried about trying to figure it out right anyway...

i tihnk i'll get a normal camer before this years event so i can get some decent photos...this new fangled technology is way ahead of me

you've just gotta time it right.. :)

having a cheap but good slr means i'm happy to stick it on a tree stump beside the road and trigger it remotely(something i wouldn'f do with a $2000 digital.. ;)

lol....has it become one of steve's 'genuine morris coopers'?

No - it was actually MiniSport!!

there were two BRG morris coopers side-by side and i actually couldnt tell the difference....i spent AGES looking and just couldnt find anything different on the replica. They must have spent ages adding all the bits and pieces

I tell ya, Steve knows his crap, he just cant get any solid work done cos of the interruptions. The genuine Cooper cost the owner $25,000 to restore.

I got to drive those 2 BRG minis, and a '94 Rover 1.3i mini - the BRG ones (non injected) were much, much nicer to drive.... 8)
