Congrat's to Dean for winning the first race at Bathurst in the HPDC 13 lap Race. Even with a little bit of Rain and Kangaroo's

Good luck with the Second Race and the 1000 with Glen Seaton

May not be mini related as he's in a Falocn but he drives Mini Ute as an every day car 8)

OK.. I do not know all the answers to this but here are a few questions...

fastest lap around Bathurst in the V8's?
ford or holden did the fastest time?
most years won by ford/holden ?
most races won by a driver?
Who was the driver?
What car did he drive?

I think the answers to those should just about make it clear who is the better.

Arrr I see no Ford fans have answered the questions..

Well I just went and looked for the info:

Most wins for 1 driver = Peter Brock

Fastest Race Time = Brock/Perkins 1984 VK (not the fastest on the new track.. but the fastest on the new track was a nissan)

Fastest Pole Time = Murphy 2003 , Holden

holden have won 24, Ford 14

Funny thing is Ford have had MORE Pole Pos starts than Holden.. but just cant keep the pace.

Well there ya go.... can't beat the facts.... Ford just don't cut it.. Don't get me wrong.. I do like some Fords (old ones) but that just don't have what Holden do..

PS: Aaron is this a OK post or am I running off with BS agian that no one gives a toss about? or Is this a worthy post of ausmini??
