In all seriousness... what about doing this to the INSIDE of an old school mini...??

Does anyone know if this type of paint cracks due to panel flex..? I was thinking of chroming up the entire inside of my car for something different (covered normally but then uncovered for shows) but never asked the questions......

If it's true chrome, then it's a bare metal dipped in copper solution, then nickle dipped and so on. So you need huge baths to get the components in to get coated; it's not a spray on paint. That's why you don't often see chromed cars. Also that's why the whole component needs to be chromed as there's no way of excluding the chroming process from one part of it.
