How do I get inside it  :D no door handles, locks, no boot handle either. are they rover doors ie no quarter windows, does that mean it was a rover before it got modified :?:

Probably remote activated or microswitches somewhere. That's what the pomgolians do.

Not sure if it's rover or not... which is easier? mk1 rear lights on a rover or rover doors on a mk1?

I'm a fan of deseamed & debumpered. If you are deseaming, you don't need to keep the original look IMHO

As long as the gutter is left deseaming looks great and removes a rust magnet.
Is it even legal not to have doorhandles over here? It'd make it harder for emergency services to get you out?

So long as it is pre-1967 (when the first ADRs came in) you can get away with almost anything. That little green tub that was talked about the other week is a great example - no windscreen, no door handles, no doors !
