boot seals......
I've asked before and have found that there are two different types. glue on.. Or clip on. clip on apparently takes 26 or something 1 dollar or something clips( and potentially leads to a small JAM like blemish on a envied clubbie). Glue on I assume takes glue. Which is better Are the glue ons easy to find where they should sit? Does the glue hold. There may be some high end stereo gear in there so I want it to be dry and dust freee....

Make sure the glue or silicone is non-acidic or it may cause the boot to rust eventually.
This is usually sorted out when using silicones by looking for water based types. Liquid nails is quite a good bond, but I haven't used it on seals before.

I purchased the clips from Minispares, and remember paying so little each that it simply did not matter from memory. I can't get minispares at the moment, so can't check the prices.

Personally, I would NOT glue. It's too permanent.

The clips work great! My seal was tight, but now its fine.
