Hi,

What is the best way to cut the carpet at the rear to allow it to slide under the seat support (how should it be done!) You could cut a chunk out, slit it once and then again at a right angle?

I'd slot it in a 'T' shape.....so that it hugs that centre bit when it's all in......

i cut a hole where the post goes, nice tight fit, then make an incision below the main aorta... i mean make an incision form your fresh new hole to the back of the carpet. you may want to edge it properly or something, i didnt and its not falling apart, but i can't imagine it being a bad idea.

also you will need to cut a hole for your rear seat mounts, im not sure whether the new carpets cme whit this or not though.

also seat belt clips and handbrake
