Those 4 words sum you up so damn good.

"Just wank and bling"

Maybe Billycart should update his sig (and make it SMALLER, hehe) with that quote!

Nice to see some of us have cash to throw around willy nilly

Nice "Budget". Sounds like a spending spree to me. Please don't turn it into another 'too much cash, too much stick-on crap' kinda cars. Y'know the one, Will

Sorry to sound a little bitchy, but i work 55+ hours a week and this would take me a year or more to get the continuous cash flow for such a project. I envy people with such a thing as 'spare' money for toys.

Yes i know the ones, Stuwey.
This one will be a well thought out, time taken project.
Hence the money i will have to spend on it.
It won't be horrendous in the end.
Which is why i'm going the stocky 998 route.

Why? Just cos :)

Well Dad has told me to pull my finger out.
So not long i hope.
Can't put a time on things, you see, until the car is painted.
I expect to take it down to the paint shop some time in the week after the mill.
This way i get to definitely decide on the colour scheme.
Good thinking, eh

yeah, my "budget" consists of a piece of lint i found in my pocket and a tin of "EL-BEAU" grease i found in the shed

even a 1.75 carby is overkill on a 998..
i expect to see huge plumes of unburnt fuel puffing out of willy's rice cannon..

Don't assume mate!
Just cos i said JUN BL doesnt mean its a cannon.
And i'm not going to say any more on the matter.

As for the unburnt fuel... its not getting tuned at "another" Mini place. This one will be in great hands. Steve knows his Webers, and if he cant get it perfect, Rodney will. He's been doing webers since he was a small child. He's still a child, but he's just physically bigger :D

If you can't fit your boot into it, it's not big enough.
If you can't trip over it, it's not obvious enough.
If it doesn't blind you, it's not shiney enough.
I'm going FULL ON with mine.
