And as far as I know copper is illegal in NSW. It can crack under vibration. One way to remedy this is by winding it up in the middle creating a spring to absorb the vibrations of the engine. I've got copper (as opposed to coper plated steel) and get cautioned by every mechanic.

How long you reckon it takes to replace the whole brake lines?
