I'm prolly gunna leave just before 7, maybe 630 at the earlyest. We got a convoy hapnin as it is, rather small tho. Me in the 1275 LS and whoever is driving my van, and maybe my uncle in his clubby. Mike will be there, too, but he aint bringing his brick across :evil:

If Rohan wants to be on his family display we can also have the ausmini stand next to that which means he can effectively be in both at the same time.

How does that sound.

Can't wait. Picked up trophies today. Could be a problem getting them into a mini.

Jan... just a question... whats doing with the sound comp bit, do all cars competiing have to be in a seperate area?

Most sound off cars with be put together. With exemptions for individual display cars. There are some people that need extra space and certain areas.

It's winter and it's Melboure, what do you expect!

The venue is indoors anyway.

Just bring a couple of chamios, plenty of clean rags and a bottle of Meguars "Final Inspection" or similar.

In fact you don't even have to bring your own cleaning products, Meguairs have a stand at the show.

Well, we came, we saw, we lined up the cars and we had FUN!

We managed to group most of the AUSMINI cars together in one corner.

Poeee bought along a PC and ran some screen captures on a loop, so people could check aumini.com out. All 50 flyers he took with him got taken, so hopefully we will have some new members shortly.

There were some really slobber-inducing Minis and Mokes and the quality of the top cars just goes up more each year.

Highlights included Jan's Mutant Mini or a turntable, a real fullsize countryman in Countryman in a giant toy car box and an orage clubman bursting through the side of a giant Cheezles box.

TOP MARKS to Jan (muntant mini) and John Small who put in a heap of effort for a fantastic day! (applause please!)
