I took JAM to work today, and dropped in on my ex-BMC trimmer this afternoon. He was amazed at how good JAM looked, and raved about my installation of the head lining (said I did a great job) 8)

He is going to revive the seats from the GT, and do some door cards as well. He reckons he has some of the original basket weave vinyl that my GT seats are done in (kidskin?). Supposed to be VERY rare....and he says "yea, I have some of that tucked away back there"..... 8)

I am dropping them off next week.

Chris, do you have pics of GT interiors? I need to know what the door trims should look like?!? :?

So much for my 10 year plan!!! :P

Here are some pics of the GT trim.
Disregard the seats - they've been re-trimmed in the correct material but the whole seat shouldn't be the 'weave' pattern, just the inserts.
I'm pretty sure the door cards are correct.

10 years - more like 12 months at this rate

My GT rear seat is correct, and there is NO HUMP for seat belts. I believe later clubbies got that. No idea what years.....someone confirm?

Awesome pics Julie!

So did the GT Clubby have door trims the same as a standard Clubby?...and only the seats were different?

If that is the case, then I need door cards the same as what Makka has been raving about for ages....the 'almost white' colour trims.

Off topic.... Doogie told me he almost bought a GT. Said he didn't because of the way the drivers seat belt had been mounted. I would say that from this pic, it's the same car:

Yep - same car. He sent us the pics for Wayne to have a look at.
