Well i just got my 2 new door switches, so i can get a start on installing the alarm.
It has 2 point immob, glass breakage sensor, battery backup, all that crap.
Just thinking; because the bonnet doesnt lock or anything, can a 'door switch' be installed up front?
I know that rover has ones for the boot.

Has anyone on here done boot/bonnet. If so, tips and pics would be great.
Thanks. 8)

hello willie,
yep its all pritty easy to do what ya just said, rovers (not the early 1's) had boot switches on the top right of the boot,so head down to BRICKWORX RACING at 872-874 South Rd Edwardstown and grab 1 of them, and the alarm should come with a switch to put on the bonnet,ya just drill a hole on the RH side of that flat bit in the engine bay near the guard, easy as mate,ALSO ya will have to drill 2 small holes to fir rover switches to a clubby, also just a matter of putting stitch in normal spot, mark hole, drill, pulkl wire thru, connect, push switch in and screw into place :D
if ya get stick, bring her down to my place ill give ya a hand to do it
have fun with it and good luck :D
